Notizia ghiotta per i fan degli Smashing Pumpkins. E' infatti notizia di pochi giorni fa l'annuncio, realizzato da Sua Maestà Billy Corgan in persona, dell'inizio delle registrazioni del nuovo album della band dopo le turbinose vicende degli scorsi mesi.

Ma questo non è tutto. Mr. Corgan ha infatti svelato anche il titolo dell'album, che sarà "Teargarden by Kaleidyscope" e che conterrà la bellezza di 44 canzoni (quattro delle quali registrate già in questi giorni).

Ma questo, signori miei, non è tutto. Queste 44 canzoni saranno infatti SCARICABILI GRATUITAMENTE (...e soprattutto legalmente, ndr) dal sito degli Smashing Pumpkins a registrazioni concluse. Parola di Billy Corgan.

...che, più precisamente, ha scritto: "I'm happy to finally announce the plans for the new Smashing Pumpkins album. [...] The album will feature 44 songs, 4 of which are now being recorded. My desire is to release a song at a time beginning around Halloween of this year, with each new release coming shortly after until all 44 are out. Each song will be made available absolutely for free, to anyone anywhere. There will be no strings attached. Free will mean free, which means you won't have to sign up for anything, give an email address, or jump through a hoop. You will be able to go and take the song or songs as you wish, as many times as you wish".

Ora, caro Billy, parliamoci chiaro: le ultime realizzazioni degli Smashing Pumpkins non è che fossero questo gran risultato. Mi garantisci che hai finalmente messo la testa a posto? Mi assicuri, per piacere, che potrò nuovamente ascoltare cose del genere?
